Dickens Village “Cricket’s Hearth Cottage”- Dickens Village

This beautiful cobblestone cottage was named for the third Christmas story written by Charles Dickens in 1845, The Cricket On The Hearth. Made from high-quality porcelain, its intricately detailed features are hand-painted by skilled artisans. The building is illuminated using a bulb and standard light cord.

Victorian England, at the time of Charles Dickens, was the center of culture for the world and where many traditions we celebrate today took shape. Its architecture, customs, and history are inherent in the Dickens Village Series from Department 56.
