Halcyon Days 2017 Easter Egg 459 of 500- Halcyon Days Enamels

This Easter Egg was developed in conjunction with The Castle of Mey Trust and depicts the timeless beauty of this idyllic Scottish Castle which was the much-loved holiday home of the late Queen Mother. The inspiration for the egg is taken from the John Gubbins water-color of the Castle and the grounds portraying many of the elements of the Castle, including the cattle and the Queen Mother’s favorite flowers.
