Harney & Sons Eight at the Fort Loose Leaf 1 lb Bag- Harney & Sons

Eight at the Fort is Harney & Sons’ signature blend of eight teas, created especially for the historic 1997 dinner at The Fort Restaurant, attended by the Group of Eight world leaders high in the mountains above Denver. You’ll find it remains a contemporaneously harmonious blend, with notes from each tea working in agreement. The aroma is mild as all eight teas complement each other. The 8 teas combine to make a delicious tea that blends muted notes of honey, malt, citrus, stonefruit, and stewed apples. Caffeinated. Medium-bodied.

Ingredients: Assam black tea, oolong tea, white tea.

In June of 1997, President Bill Clinton hosted a G8 (Group of Eight) summit in Denver. Harney & Sons was commissioned to do a special tea for the event. They carefully chose eight special teas that would combine together in the hope of a better future.
