Isis Ceramics Blue Sporting Monkeys Cereal Bowl (Reginald)- Isis Ceramics

This small bowl is hand painted in Isis Ceramics’ Sporting Monkeys pattern, featuring the ‘Reginald’ scene. Because Isis ceramics are hand-painted, no two are identical, so slight variations in the pattern are normal.

The Sporting Monkeys are named and dressed for the game — showing Ace playing tennis; Piste skiing; Reginald playing golf; and Horse Racing features Beecher.

In Oxford, England, where the Thames is known as the Isis, the art of tin glazed ceramics continues to flourish. Isis Ceramics are entirely made by hand using techniques that have changed little since the early 1600s. Each one is an original, hand painted work of art, signed and numbered.
