Dickens Village “A Silver Coin in Every Bake”- Dickens Village

A silver sixpence was included in a plum pudding to bring luck and happiness all year to whoever found it —and didn’t chip a tooth in the process! Made from high-quality porcelain, its intricately detailed features are hand-painted by skilled artisans.

Victorian England, at the time of Charles Dickens, was the center of culture for the world and where many traditions we celebrate today took shape. Its architecture, customs, and history are inherent in the Dickens Village Series from Department 56.
