Dickens Village “Cotswold Greengrocer”- Dickens Village

The Cotswolds is a beautiful rural area located west and south of London, characterized by rolling hills and quaint architecture. The greengrocer is a British and Australian term used to describe a retailer that mainly sells fruits and vegetables. Made from high-quality porcelain, its intricately detailed features are hand-painted by skilled artisans. The building is illuminated using a bulb and standard light cord.

Victorian England, during the time of Charles Dickens, was the center of culture for the world, and it was here that many traditions we celebrate today took shape. Its architecture, customs, and history are inherent in the Dickens Village Series from Department 56.
