Dickens Village “Playing with a Puppy”- Dickens Village

What Christmas gift could be more adorable than a new puppy? None! The “Playing With A Puppy” figurine displays a young brother and sister enjoying a fun romp in the snow with the latest furry addition to their family. The little girl wears a pink bonnet over her blonde hair and a red and white coat over her green dress, while her brother is sharply dressed in a top hat and a deep blue jacket. The black and brown puppy gambols happily at their feet. Made from high-quality porcelain, its intricately detailed features are hand-painted by skilled artisans.

Victorian England, at the time of Charles Dickens, was the center of culture for the world and where many traditions we celebrate today took shape. Its architecture, customs, and history are inherent in the Dickens Village Series from Department 56.
